jToday in math we were learning split shapes into halves, quarters and thirds and found a half of quarter of numbers.

Our Pt England way is to always kick start the term with an immersion assembly today was no different our management team started its off by introducing our theme transformers which is all about drama. We also watched team 4 play charades with each other and Mr Hughes was  the teacher and the rest had to act out an emotion. They all were very good actors once they picked their emotions they had to do they acted it out and once they were done they finished the act happily ever after. Team 5 teachers acted out Cinderella but with a twist and Mr Moran was Cinderella.

Today we learnt how to illustrate the steps i used to solve word problems. My hightlight was working out maths problems.

Today we did a statistical investigation and my question was what is your favourite colour and here is my data and i fond out that black is the favourite colour in room 2 and the least favourite colour is pink.

This year in year 6 we got to experience a lot of interesting things. One of my biggest highlights was year 6 camp Bentonz because it was fun and we all had a good time. I got to hang out with my friends during free time. My favourite activity was Sailing. It was something new for me but I did it and had so much fun out on the water. 

Another highlight for me this year was Year 5&6 camp. We were in tents on the school field and did fun activities during the day. We got to go kayaking with Mr Burt, cooking, volleyball, scooters and more. I enjoyed slipping and sliding until I broke my arm. That was so sore but I’ll remember it because it was fun.

My Third highlight is Athletics day. It was fun because I was with all my friends doing the activities. I came third in shot put and my two friends took 1st and and 2nd place. It was a nice hot day on athletics day. We did our house chants with our team while we walked around to our next sporting event.
